General Principle
When an item is removed in Lumendash (such as a dashboard, data source, or export configuration), it becomes immediately inaccessible. Following removal, the data is securely retained for a limited retention period, after which it is permanently deleted from our systems.

Please note: any data exported out of Lumendash remains unaffected. The retention period is kept as short as possible, in line with legal, contractual, and operational requirements. Typically, this period is 30 days, depending on the data type.

‍Removing a Dashboard
When a dashboard is deleted:
- All associated data sources, visualizations, and scheduled imports/exports are also removed in that dashboard. The data source remains connected in Lumendash unless disconnected.
- Users who previously had access will no longer see or access the dashboard when they sign in.

Important:
Deleting a dashboard does not cancel your subscription to Lumendash.

‍Removing a Data Source
When a data source is removed:
-Its data becomes immediately unavailable in Lumendash.
- After the retention period, the data is permanently deleted from our systems.

‍Removing an Export
When a scheduled export is removed:
- The export configuration is deleted, and no further exports will occur.
